“I regularly go to Sound Baths, but this was my first with Silvia. The session was held with me and a group of teenagers with Spld. Silvia has a nurturing manner and we instantly felt comfortable in the room which was set up with bowls and gongs of various sizes. As we laid down an instant feeling of calmness was felt in the room. Silvia talked us through the steps and so the session began.
Using the science of sound and vibration sound healing helps dislodge stress and tension and aids the body into deep relaxation as the nervous system shifts from ‘fight and flight’ to ‘rest and digest’. Being the teacher in the room; although I was benefiting with the session, I felt that out of curiosity, a part of me needed to be awake to see how the pupils were reacting to the session. The pupils in the room have ADHD, Autism and suffer from sleep deficit, and would usually find it difficult to allow themselves to rest, but I was amazed to see such a result. They seemed to be in a relaxed state going inwards thus exploring their imagination. At the end of the session they (as myself) left the room with a sense of calm, and the feedback from them was that they enjoyed it. It certainly had a calming effect on the lesson that followed. Thank you so much Silvia!”

“I went to the sound bath during lunchtime and I was a bit unsure, but it was extremely relaxing. I lay down and closed my eyes; listening to the sounds being played around me. There were a collection of sounds including wind chimes and a rain stick. These sounds made me feel calm and soothed. I really enjoyed the sound bath as it made my mind feel fresh, relaxed, and ready for the second half of the day. I will come back again!!”
